Professionalism and Experience

Meet Diana Dan, Your Partner in Growth
GMBPsS | MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy | MSc Psychology | MSc Human Resources Management | BSc Psychology & Sociology

Welcome! I am delighted you have taken the first step towards prioritising your mental well-being.

These are the treatment types I use, and this is what your experience will be like:

I use a tailored blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches. Depending on your needs, I may also draw from attachment theory, behaviour therapy for children, guided reflection, and structured coaching techniques.

In our sessions, you can expect a space that is safe, focused, and emotionally honest. Therapy with me is:

• Structured but flexible: you will have direction, but space to feel

• Practical and compassionate: we will use real tools that fit your life

• Personalised: your goals, your pace, your story

You would not be pushed into quick fixes. Instead, you will develop:

• Emotional insight and self-understanding

• Skills to manage anxiety, conflict, low mood, or self-doubt

• Language for boundaries, self-worth, and resilience

• A stronger, clearer sense of who you are, and how you want to live

Therapy is not about being “fixed.” It’s about becoming more fully yourself, with support, clarity, and courage.

Why choose me

With over a decade of experience, I bring a unique blend of compassion, professionalism, and proven techniques to help you unlock your full potential. My clients often tell me I make opening up feel natural, like talking to someone who truly understands them. Whether you are navigating anxiety, facing life changes, or building resilience, I tailor every session to suit you.

What sets me apart

  • Expertise you can trust: With three Master’s degrees and certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychology, Human Resources, Hypnotherapy, Children’s Behavioural Therapy, and more, my toolkit is well-equipped to address a wide range of challenges.

  • Real-world experience: Having worked with the NHS and leading mental health organisations like Mind and Cruse, I have supported individuals of all ages and honed my approach to ensure effective, lasting results.

  • Innovative techniques: I specialise in therapies such as CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and Person-Centred Therapy, so we will find the method that resonates with you.

What you can expect
Therapy is not just a process—it is a partnership. When we work together, it is not about quick fixes but meaningful, sustainable change. Whether you are seeking clarity, confidence, or calm, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

Who I work with

You do not have to look broken to be hurting.

While every client is unique, many of the people I support have something in common, they seem capable, responsible, and high-functioning on the outside, but inside they feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or deeply alone.

I work with:

  • Women in emotionally complex relationships

You may feel like you are constantly walking on eggshells, questioning your worth, or stuck in patterns that drain your energy. Whether you are recovering from a toxic dynamic, in the middle of separation, or rebuilding your identity, I help you reconnect with your inner voice, set healthy boundaries, and move forward with clarity and strength.

  • Parents under pressure

I support mothers and fathers who are managing the emotional needs of their children, often while facing burnout, guilt, or systemic challenges. If your child has anxiety, sensory differences, or struggles in school, I help you find emotional resilience, practical strategies, and a voice within overwhelming systems like EHCPs or school transitions.

  • Teenagers who feel lost or misunderstood

I work with teenagers who are withdrawn, anxious, or frustrated, often labelled as “difficult” but carrying hidden emotional loads. I help them feel seen, build emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with their strengths, especially when they are navigating ASD, trauma, or pressure to ‘perform’ socially or academically.

  • Men with quiet survival stories

I support men, including British, Romanian or Eastern European men, Irish, Portuguese and American clients, who have been raised to stay strong and keep going, often at the expense of their inner world. If you are tired of suppressing emotion, carrying family responsibilities, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, I help you explore experiences safely, without judgement, and without losing your dignity.

How I work

Calm, clarity, and truth, with structure.

My approach blends deep empathy with clear therapeutic structure. I do not just hold space, I help you move through it.

In sessions, we may explore:

• What is really underneath the overwhelm or shutdown

• How old patterns still run today’s relationships

• The nervous system’s response to survival, rejection, or threat

• New tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, and choice

I use a tailored mix of:

CBT, ACT, and DBT techniques to support clarity, thought work, and behaviour change

Attachment and trauma-informed therapy to understand emotional patterns

• Cultural awareness, especially for Eastern European clients navigating identity, generational pressure, or migration stories

Warm structure, so you feel held but not indulged, supported but also strengthened

Sessions are available online or face-to-face in Greenwich, London. You are welcome to show up uncertain, overwhelmed, or guarded, I will meet you where you are.

A Personal Note
Life has taught me that growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone. As someone who has taken literal leaps of faith, from skydiving to glider piloting, I understand the courage it takes to confront challenges head-on. Let’s channel that same courage into your journey.

Take the First Step

“I have had therapy for years, but none of them actually helped me like Diana did. No words could describe very exactly how much I have changed with Diana's help in last 6 months. She is a great therapist with sharp observation and sensitive analysis towards my situation and my problem. I think which is very important for a patient suffering from the mental issue for years.”
